The Parish consists of scattered settlements - Holt village, Broomhill, Holtwood, Whitemoor, Holt Forest, Grange, Gaunts Common, Pig Oak, Mannington, Higher and Lower Row, and Holt Heath - some are mentioned in the Domesday Book.
